What’s It All About?
NeuroFest is a grassroots, neuroaffirming family festival created by autistic-led non profit Neurodiversity Navan. More than just a day out, NeuroFest is a space where neurodivergent children, young people, adults, and their families can feel safe, seen, supported, and celebrated exactly as they are.
Every part of the festival has been thoughtfully designed with neurodivergent families in mind. From sensory supports and calm spaces to joyful activities and community connection, NeuroFest is about creating an environment where families can relax, connect, and enjoy themselves without pressure or judgement.
A portion of all profits supports Neurodiversity Navan’s local inclusion initiatives across County Meath.
A Festival Designed With Neurodivergent Families In Mind:
At NeuroFest, inclusion is not an afterthought. It is built into every part of the day.
We know that many events can feel overwhelming for neurodivergent children and families, so we have carefully designed NeuroFest to reduce stress and create a calmer, lower pressure experience.
Families can expect:

• Limited ticket numbers to reduce crowding
• Reduced sound levels and no flashing lights
• Break Rooms and sensory supports
• Sensory Maps, Information and Visual guide
• Communication boards throughout the venue
• Spacious layouts with room to move at your own pace

• Trained volunteers available throughout the day
Whether your child loves movement and excitement or prefers slower, more sensory rich activities, families are encouraged to explore the festival in whatever way feels right for them.
Every child ticket includes 7 activities thoughtfully grouped to suit different sensory needs and energy levels. Families can explore at their own pace, choosing from high-energy fun or calmer, more regulated play.
Calm & Creative Activities
These activities are perfect for children who prefer gentle, imaginative, or sensory-rich play.
Activity 1: The Sand Barn:
A calming space that encourages creativity and sensory regulation, where kids can dig, build, and explore in a massive 1,200 square foot sand pit filled with 40 tons of natural sea sand.
Packed with diggers, trucks, buckets, and spades, this hands-on play zone encourages creativity, movement, and imaginative play in a safe and engaging environment.
Perfect for all ages, The Sand Barn offers the fun of the beach, whatever the weather!
Activity 2: Bubble Making:
This relaxing and magical activity is perfect for sensory fun — open to all ages.
Unleash your inner bubble artist with our oversized bubble wands! Challenge your friends and family to see who can create the biggest, most dazzling bubbles. How many can you pop before they float away?
This enchanting activity isn’t just for kids—adults are welcome to join in the fun too! Get ready for a bubbly good time that will leave everyone smiling.
Activity 3: Mini Golf:
Take your time on our 9-hole course designed for playful interaction, great for those who like a mix of light physical movement and focus. Perfect for all ages!
Can you beat the kids, or will they score a hole-in-one and claim victory? With just your trusty putter, enjoy a mix of skill and laughter that’s sure to delight both kids and adults alike.
Activity 4: Pedalo Boats:
Slow-paced and joyful water play.
Set sail into a world of imagination and adventure as your little captains take charge of their own single-seat pedal boats! Equipped with life vests for safety, our young adventurers will navigate their miniature vessels across an 8m x 8m inflatable pond. With every pedal, they’ll chart their own course, creating waves of laughter and unforgettable memories on this aquatic escapade. Perfect for sparking joy and a sense of adventure! Water 1.5 foot deep, team member will be in the water at all times

Activity 5: Inflatable Fun Zone:
Inflatable Fun Zone
Great for big body movement and sensory seekers!
Get ready to bounce, climb, and slide your way through our exciting inflatable obstacle courses and slides! Designed for maximum fun, our purpose-built inflatables area includes:
Two thrilling inflatable obstacle courses
A bouncy castle with an attached slide
A giant double slide for endless excitement
Two dedicated inflatable play zones
Perfect for kids who love adventure and active play! (Please note: Children must be at least 1 meter tall to participate in the larger inflatables, and adults are not permitted on the inflatables.)

Activity 6: Target Shooting:
Laser tag–style game where kids can focus their attention and test their coordination. Fast-paced, yet structured and safe.
Test your aim and race against the clock in our super-safe indoor laser tag target game! How many targets in 1 minute? Bring your steady hand and sharp eye for this exciting challenge. This activity is under roof cover
Activity 7: Barrel Train Ride
All aboard for a train ride with a twist! Hop into one of our fun, ship-themed barrel carriages and set sail on an exciting journey around the Navan Adventure Centre fields. Hold on tight as we navigate up and down hills, delivering a unique and bumpy adventure filled with laughter and thrills.

NeuroFest is rooted in acceptance, identity, and belonging.
Throughout the day, families can explore a range of creative and community focused experiences including:
- Neurodiversity Forest
- Stimming Trail
- Community fingerprint artwork
- Arts & Crafts Rooms
- LEGO Room
- Inclusive creative activities for all ages
- Magic Show, both on the main stage and walkaround magic
These spaces are designed to celebrate neurodivergent identity, encourage self expression, and create moments of joy and connection.
NeuroFest will feature a range of short, accessible speaker sessions from professionals, advocates and neurodivergent community leaders.
Topics will focus on practical supports, lived experience, autistic joy, OCD, and creating more supportive environments for neurodivergent children and families.
Speaker sessions are intentionally shorter to make them more accessible for families.
Families can explore our Neurodivergent Creators Market featuring artists, authors, makers, and also our vendor village which includes sensory businesses, and inclusive brands.
All vendors are carefully selected to align with NeuroFest’s values of inclusion, respect, and neuroaffirming practice.
Visitors can also connect with organisations including:AsIAm, ADHD Ireland and Neurodiversity Ireland.

NeuroFest is a low pressure, non judgemental space where neurodivergent people do not need to mask, explain, or change who they are to belong. You are welcome exactly as you are.

Ticket Prices:
Adults 16+ years: €10 (Adults are welcome to take part in all activities apart from the bouncy inflatables)
Carer: €6 (Mush have carers ID)
Child 3 to 16 years: €18
Toddler 1-2 years: €10

We strive to provide clarity on all inquiries regarding our services
Yes. Children under 1 go free, but please note they are too young to take part in the activities. You’re welcome to bring them along for a walk around and photo opportunities.
Yes. Vouchers can be used as full or part payment. To book with a voucher, please email your voucher code and value to info@navanadventurecentre.ie. We’ll send you a booking code and instructions to complete your purchase.
This is a non-refundable event. If you can’t attend, you may pass your ticket on to someone else.
- If the event is cancelled due to a red weather warning, you’ll receive a voucher for the full ticket value (excluding booking fee).
- If you can’t attend, tickets are non-refundable. You’re welcome to pass them on or resell.
If the event is cancelled (e.g. red weather warning), you’ll receive a full-value voucher (excluding booking fee) to use on any future activity or event. Inflatables may be paused in high winds, but all other activities will run unless deemed unsafe.
